Zotero is a free bibliographic manager that works on all operating systems allowing for collaboration across the board.

With Zotero you can:

• Store references in one place
• Keep reading notes linked to sources
• Automatically format bibliographies and citations in over 10,000 different styles in any text editor (Word, Google Docs, LibreOffice)
• Share your collections with colleagues
• Access your Zotero library from any location and remotely back up and sync your library.

Oxy librarians created an interactive asynchronous Zotero tutorial that you can embed in your Canvas course! 

While logged into Canvas, choose Commons from the leftside main menu:

Search for Zotero:

And, look for Oxy Library's Zotero Tutorial (will likely be the first result):

Open the course and click on the Import/Download button.

Then select the course you want to add it to from the menu and click Import into Course.

It is now a part of your course!
