Keenious: AI-based research assistant

Our access to Keenious is IP address based.  It is important to create an account so that you are linked to Oxy library resources.

On Campus: Create an account at Keenious Sign Up

  Sign in with Microsoft (uses Oxy's Single Sign On protocol) or you can choose to sign in with your Oxy email address.

Once an account is created, if you are on campus or using our VPN, Keenious will automatically recognize you and log you in. 

Off campus and not using our VPN

If off campus (and not using our VPN), then you will need to create an account using your Oxy email.  Once you go to Keenious.com, your create account/login screen will look like the following:

Just click the avatar in the lower left of the page to be taken to the sign up page.  Use Microsoft or enter your name and Oxy email.  Do not sign up via Google.

Install plugins for Word and Docs either from the links on the Keenious welcome page or using the links below:

Important! If you want to use Keenious with Word documents, you must upgrade to Windows 11: Instructions for Upgrading to Windows 11

Once the plugins are installed, if you are on campus, you will not need to sign in again to use them.  If you are off campus, then you will be prompted to sign in again.
