- Videvo - Royalty-free stock video footage, music, and sound effects, either CC licensed (BY-3.0) or licensed by the company for easy use in non-commercial and commercial projects. Ad-supported, registration required, no fees.
- Freesound.org - A collaborative database of sound effects licensed under Creative Commons. Free to use, account login required.
- Incompetech - A collection of Creative Commons licensed music by American composer Kevin MacLeod. Titles include "Derp Nugget," "Canon in D for Autoharp," and "Elf Meditation." Songs can be downloaded as MP3 and attributions are provided.
- Oxy Special Collections on SoundCloud - Preview hundreds of hours of digitized audio recordings of lectures, speeches, and music from the Occidental College Archives. Contact specialcollections@oxy.edu for audio files and information on using these recordings in your project.
