Oxy library subscribes to a reading list application called Leganto. This application supports the creation and management of course reading lists. Instructors can build, maintain, and share resource lists while logged into their Canvas courses and students can access all course materials in one place and from any device.
Reading Lists allow instructors to:
- Create lists of relevant, up-to-date materials gathered from a range of sources including the Library collection, web sites, Zotero, and multimedia resources (youtube.com, etc.)
- Easily manage and update course resources based on your course needs
- Look at statistical usage of materials by students
and students to:
- Easily access lists for all of their courses in one place
- Engage with the resources, comment on readings, make recommendations for your class and the library
- Build a personal collection of resources to use at other times
