Go to Oxy's ArcGIS homepage

• If you don't have an account:

  • Account creation is done via Oxy's SSO system that you use to get to Oxy's gmail, My.Oxy, etc.  Follow these instructions to create an ArcGIS account. 

• If you already have an Oxy ArcGIS/StoryMaps account:

  • Log in at the Esri ArcGIS login page
    • Contact us via email at tlrs@oxy.edu if you've forgotten your login credentials.
      • Your username is probably [the name in your email]_occidental

ArcGIS Pro is the desktop/laptop application for using ArcGIS.  It is available on the desktop computers in the library (second floor) and outside ITS (first floor of the library) and in the Hameetman Science Center computer lab.  You can also download it directly to your own personal PC laptop (unfortunately, there is no version for Mac).  To download it to your own computer, do the following:

1. Log into ArcGIS Online
2. Click on your avatar in the upper right corner of the homepage
3. Choose  My Settings from the menu
4. Choose Licenses from the menu on the far left of the page
5. Scroll down the page a bit until you see ArcGIS Pro and the link for downloading it
