From the Library homepage, use Oxy's catalog OneSearch.
- To see ALL Special Collections books and broadsides that fall into the “fine printing” category enter the term "Fine Press Specimens" in the SUBJECT field.
- To search works by specific printers, presses (ex: Kelmscott Press, Yolla Bolly Press), enter name in the AUTHOR field.
- To search works ABOUT printers or presses, enter name in the SUBJECT field.
- Individuals can be searched entering Last name, First Name in either AUTHOR or SUBJECT fields.
- To get lists of works on the about or examples of printing, typography, letterpress, printing history, alphabet, lettering: enter any of these terms (Subject Headings) in the SUBJECT field.
- Keywords "hand set" will also bring up many great examples of bookmaking.
- To search for items only in Special Collections, select the "Special Collections" checkbox
