You can begin using OneSearch by entering keywords or other search terms, e.g., book title, author, subject/topic into the main search bar on the Library homepage. The default option is to perform a keyword search, which will search all metadata fields of a record for the terms that you enter.
The tabs above the search bar allow you to specify library collections or special collections.
Your search will yield results that include various types of media. Click on the title of a work to view the full record, which will include more information about the item.
The record of an item will allow you to perform additional actions based on the item. Here you will have options to read online, generate a citation, email the record to yourself, create a permalink (which will not expire), export to RIS (Zotero), export to easybib, or print the information about the item.
